Newbie

As a mom and a former elementary school teacher, I am constantly looking for ideas to keep my two little boys engaged.  On a fall day, I pulled into the parking lot of a craft store, ate lunch, and used my trusty smart phone to peruse the internet as my duo slept in the backseat.  I was looking for Halloween crafts when somehow I found myself on a blog.  I'd never seen a blog, but had heard of them and thought they were only a place to have a live journal.  But I suddenly found myself in the middle of a crafting/teaching/photo-taking woman's world, and I was hooked.  I bookmarked her website and checked back often for updates, and by often, I mean like every day.  I thought this woman was the only person using a blog to share her talents, until I clicked my way onto the blog of someone else, then someone else, and someone else and realized that there were tons of these super mommy's. It wasn't until I wanted to enter a Giveaway that I actually took the time to figure out some of the details and signed in using my handy gmail account, oh boy did that unlock a new treasure for me.  I tried telling my husband about the blog-land, but he just shook his head.  I thought it would be a lot of fun to start my own blog, to write about my new life as a SAHM (while I'm not a hoot, my kids are), and to connect with others doing the same.  So, here it is, my first of (hopefully) many posts.  :)
